Booking terms

Online bookings require a $20 deposit, credited toward your fare. Your card is saved securely with Stripe, and the balance, plus any tolls, wait time, or fees, is charged to it at the end of your ride. A saved card is charged only under these terms, such as for a late cancellation or no-show.

Pickup times close to another trip are booked as requests. The card is saved but not charged, and the ride is confirmed only when Timothy Dorsett approves it, at which point the deposit is charged. A declined request is not charged and the saved card is removed.

By booking online, you authorize Dorsett Executive Transportation to charge the saved card for the balance of the fare and additional charges described in these terms, and for the full fare under the cancellation and no-show policy below. Payments are processed by Stripe. Dorsett Executive Transportation does not store card numbers.

Online bookings require at least 12 hours notice and are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed when the deposit succeeds and a confirmation email is sent.

Point-to-point fares are set by the driving distance of the booked route, rounded to the nearest mile: 0 to 8 miles, $83; 9 to 15 miles, $105; 16 to 25 miles, $135; 26 to 35 miles, $170; 36 to 50 miles, $215. Trips of 51 to 80 miles are $66 plus $3.48 per mile. Trips over 80 miles are booked by phone. The fare does not change based on actual traffic.

One requested en-route stop on a point-to-point trip is $30. Each additional stop adds an hour to the trip. Changes to the route or detours requested during a point-to-point trip may be billed accordingly.

Hourly, as-directed packages are 2 hours, $290; 4 hours, $545; 6 hours, $790; 8 hours, $1,000. Time runs from the scheduled pickup until the passengers are dropped off and the ride is over. Each 15 minutes, or part of 15 minutes, beyond the scheduled drop-off is $35.20, billed after the trip.

Pickups at DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field add $30 for curbside pickup or $65 for an indoor meet and greet.

The grace period at pickup is 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, 30 minutes after actual flight arrival at DFW International Airport, and 20 minutes after actual flight arrival at Dallas Love Field. Each 15 minute interval, or part of one, after the grace period is $40 and is billed after the trip.

Domestic pets are welcome for $25 per trip. Service animals are accommodated at no additional fee. Passengers remain responsible for any unusual cleaning, damage, or repairs caused by animals.

Tolls, airport fees, parking, venue fees, admission charges, and other out-of-pocket trip expenses are added where applicable and disclosed in advance. Other approved charges may vary.

Gratuity is not included in the fare and is not collected online. It is always at your discretion.

Cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled pickup at no charge, and your deposit is refunded. Cancellations 12 to 24 hours before pickup are charged 50% of the confirmed fare. Cancellations less than 12 hours before pickup are treated as a no-show.

A no-show is charged 100% of the confirmed reservation price.

To cancel or change a booking, call or text (817) 559-0325 or email timothy@ridedet.com. Refunds are issued to the original card. Late cancellation and no-show charges are charged to the saved card, less the deposit already paid.

Smoking and illegal substances are not permitted in the vehicle. Damage to the vehicle, including cleaning required beyond normal use, may be billed to the card on file for the booking.

The chauffeur may decline or end a trip if a rider's conduct puts the safety of the rider, the chauffeur, or others at risk.
